The four tables just as in test #1 but this time with a variable x, Table X is as far away from the door as you can get the customer who sits in its seat has to be placed in the very last square of the building going from left to right. Why would the computer choose Table X when other nicer tables were closer to the door and also free. Lets find out what happened.

Once my Buzz Rating is that high there are no more free tables and the rate at which the customers eat and leave is equal to or greater than the time needed for a customer to hit the queue. The result the AI of the customers choose an orderly method at which to dine. It is equal to everyone at one point it time. They have discovered Seating Socialism. /cheers

The testing method I used is explained simply in the diagram below.

Each table had a number and an invisible red line that passes through matter to better define a point of reference.

Each time someone sat down I jotted down the table number. I did this in 5 minute cycles each data entry was on a new line.
First 5 minutes – Buzz Rating Started at 5       [4;2;1;2;3;1;3;1;4;2;1;3;2;1]
Second 5 minutes – Buzz Rating Increasing at a steady rate          [3;4;1;3;2;3;4;1;2;1;2;4;3;2;1;3;2;4;]
Thrid 5 minutes – Buzz Rating Increased to much dataflow corrupt                 [1;3;2;4;3;2;1;4;2;1;4;3;2;1;4;2;1;]

It seems so far that when there are 4 tables the higher the buzz rating the more the AI of the NPCs choose the 4321 pattern becuase well there is less of a choice.

If you’ve ever wondered how your friends have cool Cafe names and you are stuck with the default  [Firstname's Cafe] scheme be lost no more! Below is an easy to follow How-to on renaming your cafe.

Step 1

Move your cursor to the top right hand corner of the game screen then click your Cafe’s name.

After clicking a dialog box appears for you to rename your cafe from the default name it starts you off with.

Type in the desired “Cafe Name” and press Accept.

You have now changed the name of your Cafe for all to see! The new name will now appear in the top right corner of the game screen as shown below.

Ok, so you’ve spent three hours picking out the wallpaper and another two hours on rearrangement and completed the tutorial now what? Have you forgetten about those hungry customers? Let’s get COOKING!

To start the cooking process you first click on an [Oven].

You are then met with the [Cookbook] each dishes cost, cook time, serving size and spoil time varies depending on the dish.

Tip: One serving feeds one customer.As you can see if you browse through the cookbook there are five dishes you can cook at [Level 1] items further in the book will unlock as you level up. As you gain [Cafe Points] your character will then level up allowing you to cook bigger and better food to serve your customers with.

From this point onward I would recommend cooking [Bacon Cheeseburgers] on all four stoves as they are the most efficient gain of [Cafe Points] per day.Once you are done for the day, use the end of your play time to cook things that have a long cook time.

If you chose to cook Bacon Cheeseburgers on all of your ovens your ovens should look similar to this.

Now we just wait five minutes as they cook and soon we will be ready to feed our customers!

The burgers are done cooking the ovens should look like this.

Once the food you cook is done it sparkles which means it is ready to be bussed to the tables. Remember the friend you hired to work at your cafe? Well he comes in handy as the bus boy.

Once you are ready to start serving click on the ovens again and you will place the food on the serving tables for the waiter to bus them to the customers.

The food is now ready to be brought to hungry paying customers. MMMMMM Mmmmm one heart stopper deluxe please!

When the food is  placed on the serving tables, all your ovens are dirty and messy because you took one of two paths, you either A: slept at a Holiday Inn last night or B: Watched Food TV and thought it was a great idea to open a cafe. Now that the ovens are dirty you must clean them before cooking another dish.

To do so just left click each oven once when they appear as in the picture below, once clean you can then cook more food!

Off you go bus boy!

As people come and go as they please your bus boy is a key player in keeping your Cafe afloat, without him no one would be cleaning up after you or feeding the customers every now and then stop and thank him for the great job he does.

Your starting cafe should look similar to this depending on where you placed the first stove, but don’t worry almost all the objects in this game can be repositioned to your liking, it is also possible to rotate them as well.

Below is an alternative way to configure your Cafe to run more efficiently, remember nothing is set in stone and always experiment with the layout until it fits your liking.
